Do you have a youth organization who would love to help us make a difference and help bring JOY to children fighting cancer & their families? Get your kiddos together and host a Kids Helping Kids care package donation drive!
Since established in 2014 Alex’s Army has provided over 1,200 care packages and over 400 prayer pillowcases to children fighting cancer and their families. Because a majority of our funds go towards funding important life-saving research towards new treatments, we look for help from local youth organizations to host care package donation drives which help us fill the care packages we send to children fighting cancer and their siblings. This is a great way for kids to get involved and get to be hands on with helping their peers who could use a little encouragement and gifts of love!
We accept care package donations year round however we look to groups in our local community previously throughout the months of March and more recently April – which is our Alex’s birthday month.
A little unsure how it works? We will walk through step by step with your school or organization, so that you have everything you need to make your drive a success!! We will provide fliers that include your groups logo/organization name that you can distribute, use at the collection site, and/or email to your participants. All you need is a collection box and the desire to help make a difference!
Our Kids Helping Kids Care Package Donation Drive is a GREAT way for kids in the community to GET INVOLVED and to help their classmates whose lives have been forever changed by childhood cancer!
While we love seeing our nation’s youth get involved, all you BIG KIDS are more than welcome to help too! We have received donations from senior community centers, church small groups, crossfit gyms, and more and are always touched by every donation we receive!
