Alex’s Army is excited to now offer vehicle donations through partnership with CARS! Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS) is a 501c3 nonprofit social enterprise owned by a nonprofit supporting only nonprofits through vehicle donations. This donation program isn’t just limited to cars, all vehicles (running or not) are considered including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, off-road vehicles, planes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and most other motorized vehicles.
CARS makes donating your car easy. They take care of everything from the pick-up and sale to sending the donation receipt and necessary tax documents. Alex’s Army Co-Founders Derek & Jenni donated their 2009 Ford Focus to be the first to test out the program. CARS sends email updates along the way to keep you informed. The process was fast, simple, they were able to claim the donation on their taxes AND best of all Alex’s Army received over $700 within weeks of the vehicle donation!
